Summer Soccer 2023
Summer is a wrap and there is no better way to send off summer than a wonderful week of celebrations! We had fantastic couple nights finishing up soccer U4 & U6 Timbits along with U10 Summer Soccer enjoyed a sunny evening outdoors while the U8 Timbits and U12/u14 Summer soccer hosted their final evening indoors to avoid missing out on their final playoff game.
Congrats to all the players and a special mention to the Blue Team of the U12/U14 that were last entering playoff position but came home with the gold!!
These programs would not happen without the support of our amazing volunteers. There were many conversations held behind the scenes when planning how these programs are executed, especially with the challenging extremes of weather over the past two months, and your feedback was greatly appreciated.

Summer Send Off Celebration
Thank you all that were involved with the activities. R-N-B Sounds Bouncy Fun Land & Elgin Eco Association for providing these amazing inflatables that were enjoyed by youth of all ages, DJ Connor for proving us some amazing tunes, Petitcodiac Farmers Market for joining up with us for the festivities. An extra special thank you to the Summer Pool, Recreation and Works Department Staff of 2023, Destiny Carson, Nate McCormick, Melina Richard, Brynn Keith, Madalyn Keith, Kyra Ogilvie and Peyton Hooper. The hard work put in by these individuals made for success 9 weeks of programming and I could not have done it without their support.
New & Returning Programming
One Step Closer Walk/Run Program
On October 3rd there will be a new walk/run program being offered called One Step Closer. The goal of this group is to move our bodies in a positive way with beginning a progressive walk/run program. This program is being offered free of charge. The group will meet Tuesday evenings at the Petitcodiac Arena at 6:30 pm.

Halloween Ghoul and Goblin Skate
Halloween Ghoul and Goblin Skate – Sunday, October 29th from 1-2:30 at the Petitcodiac Arena. Come prepared in your Halloween Costume to skate around with your local ghouls and goblins, enter your name for raffle gift cards to local businesses and take home a treat bag!

2023 Santa Claus Festival of Lights Parade
2023 Santa Claus Festival of Lights Parade will take place on Friday December 1st, 2023.
